Bishop von Bitburg is a very handsome 2 year old German Shepherd.  This big, blond boy is just like how some folks like them: solid, strong and independent.  Being a young dog, Bishop is full of life and can, at times, charge ahead.  But he’s not necessarily the serious type -- at times he can be downright goofy, especially after he’s caught sight of a tennis ball.  Although Bishop is happy to entertain himself, once he connects with someone, he can be sweet and loving. Around other dogs he does well, as he tends not to pay them much mind.  On leash he just passes them and off leash he tends to want to stick close to you.  He always seems to be much more interested in head rubs than butting heads.  He is looking for an active home with someone willing to guide and teach him that he doesn’t always have to stand his ground, especially when it comes to things he can’t control -- like bicycles that zoom past.  So, if you are ready to have your hands full in all the best ways, he just might be the boy for you.
